TRAINING TIP OF THE DAY
 
WARM UP:  Warming up properly can help you lessen the likelihood of injury. Plan on spending at least 10-15 minutes before starting your daily workouts. If you are an older rower, you may need to spend even more time warming up. Many rowers start their warm up period with an easy jog or some simple stretches before going on the water or the erg. This can help minimize possible trauma from the stress of training. It is a good idea to use a “cool down” period after practice as well.
